If you don't remember, I posted to newest single of MGMT's, Flash Delirium, onto the blog maybe a few weeks ago. Well, they just released the music video for Flash Delirium and it is oddly fantastic! I love it!

Procrastination!

Spring break ends today and all I have done so far is write one out of three essays I need to write and sat for ten minutes, staring at the essay I need to edit. I swear to god, every time I pick up a pen, I hear a little something calling my name. When I get up to seek it out, it turns out to be one of my good friends Facebook or Netflix. I know, I know, education is important but everyone has their vices...

While not doing my homework, I have stumbled upon a hilarious little photo shoot featuring the boys of Jersey Shore and Terry Richardson. I know Terry Richardson is somewhat of a pornographer, but hey, some of his works are really, really great. I mean, try looking at these without laughing.

Okay, so maybe that second one isn't that funny, but it has a certain cuteness to it that I find hilarious (NO, I am not saying I find that crusty haired monster cute). Anyway, I guess its about time I try to pick up my pen again. This time, I'll try to ignore those pesky little calls. Lazy Friday

I know what you're thinking, how can I be having a lazy Friday? Well, when you've got nothing else going for you except for a lonely netflix account calling your name, then voila, you've got a lazy Friday! Fridays are always my favorite day of the week so whether I'm spending it at school, with friends, or in bed watching movies all day, they never fail to put a smile on my face.

I've been watching a lot of foreign films lately which has resulted in me wanting to be english (thanks to This is England), wanting to speak french (thanks to Blame it on Fidel), and find a cute German boy to break into houses with (thanks to The Edukators). They are all incredible films, I suggest you watch them. I've already watched This is England twice and I plan on watching the Edukators again tonight hehehehe.

Birthdays and new MGMT

I've just come home from celebrating a fabulous birthday with a gorgeous friend of Joyce and Me, Olivia! It was full of glitter (all over our faces, even after we showered), taco salad, and the cutest cake you could ever imagine, clad with 80--YES, 80!--candles! It was so much fun and full with laughs and stomach pains form eating too much :]


Unless you've been living under a rock (or are not an avid MGMT fan, like myself) then you have heard about their new album, Congratulations. They released their first single, Flash Delirium, about a week ago. I was actually pretty surprised it didn't sound completely different than their first album. MGMT recorded Congratulations in Malibu, so it was said that the new album is very beach influenced, which is perfect timing seeing as its spring time and we'll be heading to the beach quite often! So here it is, enjoy!

Quickie!

Before I leave for this early morning, I would love to leave you with Lady Gaga's new music video: Telephone featuring Beyonce. It's almost as addicting to watch as all her other videos. We here at Octopussygold are die hard Lady Gaga fans. She is the breath of fresh air and a whiff of perfume everyone looks to in the music business. Hello! Almost forgot the password to this glorious account, maybe I should come on more often. Life has been so busy busy busy, I've turned into quite the busy bee. Time mostly stolen from eating, homework (or procrastination I should say), watching movies, thinking and sleeping. But I have a new goal: Blog! Blog! Blog! Let's see how far that goes... not that I don't love this, it just takes some serious dedication-which I'll dig up somewhere inside my restless body. So today was the last supper for me, I am going on a diet. Why you ask? Because I feel as if my body has just doubled in weight from eating all the stuff Americans eat-grease and fat. I've been looking the other way when it came to ingredient labels but no more. So here's all the things I'll be missing!

I'll miss you all so dearly. I'll have to turn to a carrot or some tea for comfort. For those who are happy with their body, I praise you. And maybe one day I'll feel the same but for now I feel like a funny looking girl with blubber edges. Who, I might add keeps getting impregnated with food babies. I love you all and see you soon.
